DC RolePlay first formed to allow west coast swing dancers to come together and do what they love...dance. They know no gender, role, race, or orientation. Their mission is to share this limitless love with the LGBTQ and mainstream dance communities alike. They have many new members and a new routine, coached by Roger Plaut and Darin Galyer. The Players love to play with swing and hope to lead or follow you on the social dance floor!

Tony New Tony New (Dallas, TX)  to top of page

Tony New is a full time professional dance instructor teaching Country, Ballroom, Swing and Line dance in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas (US) area. He has been a member of the Texas Twisters and attending IAGLCWDC Hoedowns since "Sundance" the 8th Annual Convention in Florida in 2001. He is a nine time UCWDC World Champion and a multi-time ACDA Nationals Champion in both the Couples and Line Dance categories. He is a Gold Medal winner in both the Gay Games and OutGames and an IGRA, TGRA, and GSGRA Dance Champion.

Currently he competes in Couples, Line, Teams, and ProPro; he coaches several competitive students in both couples and line dance; and he is the coach and choreographer of the "New Moves" dance team. Fresh off their triumphant tour of "Dreamgirls - The Bridesmaids Edition", the Manhattan Prairie Dogs are excited to be joining everyone at the COLUMBUS reBOOT. Whether we are pushing a skirt down, pulling a skirt up or just plain ripping a skirt off, the Dogs are always ready to show a little leg and anything else we can get away with. When the Dogs are not kicking up their heels on the road they can be found at their home base, the Big Apple Ranch in New York City!
